Skin of the Sea

IMG_0441, originally uploaded by leclerc_jk.

Two FO's so far this week! Sorry for the second bad DIY picture, but at least I look less evil in this one.

The details : Skin of the Sea by Ilga Leja in Fleece Artist Silk Stream.

This is my first time doing one of Ilga's patterns and she writes amazingly interesting and descriptive patterns. This was a fun one to knit.

You're such a cutie in your handknits!

(BTW - love your curtains. They look like a starry night.)

You are a machine. Nice FO, BTW.

I agree, Ilga writes such intelligent patterns! There's always a special level of attention to detail.

Very nice FO Julie! Thanks for the shoutout in my comments. I think I've finally worked up enough nerve to show up to KOL, so maybe I'll see you on Tuesday.

Hey, I knew you were familiar from here, but I felt strange saying anything because it felt like I was spying on you. lol.

I have thought about knitting during breaks many times. I have just been worried about the looks and comments I'll get. They already call me the tree hugging hippy... now I'll be the crazy, knitting, tree hugging hippy... lol
Well there could be worse names.
