Now that we got that out of the way...
We are back out to sea, trying things out again. They managed to fix the leak so my hopes of going home for thanksgiving and seeing little Anna again were dashed.
Here is a shot I took while we were coming in the harbour the other day.
And here is the tug that escorted us in, just in case we had any problems. I was hoping they would send Theodore but I guess he had a prior engagement.
I started a this wrap last week. It is the Romantic Moments wrap by Evelynne A. Clark in some laceweight merino. It is my first try at something like this and it is already full of mistakes, but I am cutting myself some slack considering the conditions under which I have been working on it. The colour is not showing well but it is actually a sage green.

The joys of a first lace project :) it doesn't matter if there are a few uuhum hiccups, they often won't show when blocked. Nice colour by the way.
Little Miss Anna looks like she's already figured out who is going to buy her the cool shoes she really, really wants when she's older!
Lifelines can save your life on the first lace project:
When you complete a pattern set that you are confident is correct, run a piece of yarn or dental floss through your stitches (thread it on a needle and slip it through the stitches without removing them from the needle). That way, if you have to rip it back, you can rip to the lifeline and NOT the entire thing!
I love how she's giving you the sideways look...she's gorgeous!
Theodore is a celebrity now, and as such he only brings in the tourists on cruise ships.
